Following the spectacular vintage of 2013, is the elegant, full bodied 2014 vintage. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Rob Mondavi Jr.’s and Angelina’s individual family’s famed mountain top regions of Atlas Peak and Howell Mountain. It boasts a bouquet of fresh bing cherry, raspberry, ripe blackberry, black and red currant. The vibrant fruit notes are accompanied with hints of cocoa, new saddle leather, spices of green tea and clove with very subtle mineral soil undertones. A densely layered palate compliments the aromas with freshly harvested blackberries, cherries and red raspberries, finishing with bold yet, seductive and silky tannins.

Our 2014 Fourth Leaf is a timeless classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon worthy of enjoying with family or friends for a special occasion, with only 5 barrels produced to share.

2013

The 2013 vintage, dubbed as one of the finest vintages in decades, provided us with model growing conditions. The desired warm afternoons and cool nights, allowed the mountain fruit to reach optimal ripeness. Elegant and full-bodied, it boasts a bouquet and palate of black and red berries, black currant and cassis. The vibrant fruit tones are accompanied with hints of semi-dark chocolate, vanilla, nutmeg and spices of green tea. The enticing aromas of new saddle leather and subtle dusty soil compliment the palate of freshly harvested blueberries, blackberries, cherries and red raspberries. Our 2013 Fourth Leaf is a timeless Napa Valley Cabernet that we recommend is paired alongside your next family meal or laid to rest.

2012

A spectacular vintage that rivals some of the best, the 2012 is an exuberant, full bodied 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from our family’s famed mountain top regions of Atlas Peak and Howell Mountain. It boasts a bouquet of ripe raspberry, Bing cherry, fresh blackberry and cassis. The vibrant fruit notes are accompanied with hints of semi-dark chocolate, vanilla, and exotic spices of cardamom and green tea. A densely layered palate compliments the aromas with freshly harvested blueberries, cherries and red raspberries, finishing with long finessed vanilla bean and creamy tannins. Our 2012 Fourth Leaf is a timeless classic Napa Valley Cabernet.

Only 83 cases were produced to share.

ACQUIRE

2011

The inaugural release of Fourth Leaf is 100% Napa Valley Mountain Cabernet that is fittingly 50% from Rob’s family property atop Atlas Peak and 50% from Angelina’s family property atop Howell Mountain. The high elevation of both properties remained unscathed by the difficulties brought on by Mother Nature in 2011, producing a wine rich and complex with supple hillside tannins and pronounced mountain fruit, both in layers of bright and dark berries.

Rob and Angelina only produced 90 cases.
